Here's some of what we are doing to mark this milestone on our journey:
Celebrations
We celebrated our 10th anniversary on March 7 at Breithaupt Park (where we met for the first time in March of 2016) with a slide show and stories followed by a chili supper. We also had a special worship service on March 15 at Bechtel Park, which is our permanent worship space.

Forest Church Internship
As part of our anniversary celebrations, we are excited to be launching a paid, part-time internship program this year for those aged 17-30. Our intern, Ellie Cressman, will start in September.
Commissioned Artwork
We commissioned a print based on our theme verse in Exodus 3. Artist Nick Schuurman creates and sells prints at The Rain, The Snow, The Seed: Printmaking and Peacemaking.
Nick 'sells' his prints by asking people to make a $10 donation to a charity that engages in peacebuilding.
Event Series
As an act of reciprocity, we are creating a series of events to help us deepen our connection to places in the watershed where we have visited over the years. These are also intended to be a gift to the broader community - visitors welcome! Find out the details on the Events page.
